Prem Kumar

Prem Kumar is an Indian politician who has served as the Speaker of the Bihar Legislative Assembly since December 2025. A long-standing member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has been elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly nine times representing the Gaya Town constituency. Throughout his extensive political career, he has held significant roles, including serving as the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Assembly. He holds a PhD from Magadh University, which he earned in 1999.
