Princess Kasune is a Zambian politician and the Minister of Justice, serving as the first woman to hold this position in the country's history. First elected to the National Assembly of Zambia in 2016 to represent the Keembe constituency, she is a prominent AIDS activist who gained international recognition for her advocacy and for being the first assembly member to publicly declare her HIV-positive status. Before her ministerial appointment, she served as the Minister of Central Province. She holds a master's degree in divinity and a master's in non-profit administration, and she continues to advocate for public health and social welfare.
