Rai Hassan Nawaz

Rai Hassan Nawaz is a Pakistani politician who served as a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan from February 2024 until his disqualification in August 2025, and previously held the seat from 2013 to 2015. He also served three terms in the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab between 1988 and 1999, as well as district Nazim of Sahiwal in 2005. In July 2025, he was convicted and sentenced to imprisonment over the 2023 Pakistani protests, leading to his disqualification by the Election Commission of Pakistan in August 2025.
