Rainer Genilke is a German politician and a member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU). He currently serves as a member and Vice President of the Landtag of Brandenburg. Previously, he held the position of Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Planning of Brandenburg from 2023 to 2024, having served as State Secretary in the same ministry from 2019 to 2023. Before his ministerial roles, he was a long-standing member of the Brandenburg state parliament and the Elbe-Elster district council. Genilke is a trained heating, ventilation, and air conditioning technician by profession.
