Rakesh Rathour

Rakesh Rathour is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly for the Sitapur constituency since 2022. Before entering politics, he worked as a car mechanic. He was selected by the Bharatiya Janata Party to replace the previous MLA of the same name following a political controversy. In 2023, he gained national attention after a video surfaced involving his family members in a public altercation, which sparked significant criticism from opposition parties.
