Rakip Suli

Rakip Suli is an Albanian politician currently serving as the Mayor of Kamëz. Before his election as mayor, he served as a Member of the Parliament of Albania for the Socialist Party, representing the Tirana District during the 2013–2017 and 2017–2019 legislatures. During his parliamentary tenure, he was a member of the Committee on Productive Activity, Trade and Environment and chaired the Albania–Czech Republic Friendship Group. Prior to his political career, Suli was an entrepreneur and business professional. He is also known for his philanthropic work and his role in promoting the cultural and intellectual development of his home region, Dibër.
