Ram Nath Thakur

Ram Nath Thakur is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Rajya Sabha representing the state of Bihar. He is a prominent leader of the Janata Dal (United) party and holds the position of Minister of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare within the Third Modi ministry. The son of former Bihar Chief Minister Karpoori Thakur, he has previously served as a member of the Bihar Legislative Council and held various ministerial portfolios in the Bihar state government, including Revenue and Land Reforms, Law, and Sugarcane Industries.
