Sanjay Kumar Jha

Sanjay Kumar Jha is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha, representing the state of Bihar. He also holds the position of National Working President of the Janata Dal (United) and chairs the Parliamentary Committee on Transport, Tourism and Culture. Previously, Jha served as a member of the Bihar Legislative Council and held cabinet portfolios including Water Resources and Information and Public Relations. He began his political career with the Bharatiya Janata Party before joining the JD(U) in 2012, where he became a key aide to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
