Ram Prasad Chaudhary

Ram Prasad Chaudhary is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Lok Sabha for the Basti constituency in Uttar Pradesh, having been elected in 2024. A veteran political figure, he previously served multiple terms in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly and held several ministerial positions, including Minister of Food and Civil Supplies and Minister of Textile and Silk Industry, within the state government. Throughout his long career, he has been associated with the Janata Party, the Bahujan Samaj Party, and currently the Samajwadi Party. He holds a diploma in civil and electrical engineering.
