Ramnivas Rawat

Ramnivas Rawat is an Indian politician currently serving as a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Madhya Pradesh. A veteran legislator, he previously represented the Vijaypur constituency in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly for five terms as a member of the Indian National Congress. Throughout his long political career, he has held various significant roles, including serving as a cabinet minister in the Digvijaya Singh administration during the 1990s. In April 2024, Rawat transitioned from the Congress party to the Bharatiya Janata Party, subsequently taking his oath as a minister in the state cabinet in July 2024.
