RaShon Young is an American politician serving as a member of the Florida House of Representatives for the 40th district. Elected in a special election on September 2, 2025, he holds the distinction of being the first Generation Z Democrat to serve in the Florida Legislature. Before his election, Young worked as an engineer for NASA and served as chief of staff to his predecessor, LaVon Bracy Davis. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Bethune-Cookman University.
