Ratanjit Pratap Narain Singh is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Rajya Sabha. Born in 1964 into a prominent Zamindari family in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, he began his political career as an MLA in 1996. He served as a Member of Parliament for the Kushinagar constituency in the 15th Lok Sabha from 2009 to 2014, during which time he held several ministerial portfolios in the Union government, including Minister of State for Home Affairs. After a long tenure with the Indian National Congress, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in 2022.
