Raul Melo

Raúl Gabriel Palha de Bessa Melo is a Portuguese politician currently serving as a deputy in the Assembly of the Republic, representing the Porto constituency since 2024. Born in Gondomar in 1969, he later relocated to Baião, where he has served as a municipal councilor for the Chega party since 2021. Prior to his legislative career, Melo worked for several years as an operations manager for the Metro do Porto. In the Assembly of the Republic, he is a member of the committee for energy and transport, focusing on regional development and infrastructure policy.
