Ravi Bhalla is an American politician and civil rights attorney serving as a member of the New Jersey General Assembly for the 32nd Legislative District. Previously, he served as the 39th Mayor of Hoboken, New Jersey, from 2018 to 2026, becoming the state's first Sikh mayor. Before his mayoral tenure, he served on the Hoboken City Council starting in 2009. Throughout his career, Bhalla has focused on transportation safety, fiscal responsibility, and civil rights advocacy. He holds degrees from the University of California, Berkeley, the London School of Economics, and Tulane University Law School.
