Osman Salahuddin

Osman Salahuddin is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Washington House of Representatives for the 48th district. Born in 1996, he grew up in Redmond, Washington, and holds a degree in Neurobiology from the University of Washington. Before his legislative career, he worked in medical device research and as a communications manager for the King County Council. Salahuddin previously served on the Redmond City Council starting in 2023 before being appointed to the state legislature in 2025 and subsequently winning a full term in the November 2025 general election.
