Raymonde Poncet-Monge

Raymonde Poncet-Monge is a French politician serving as a Senator for the Rhône department and the Metropolis of Lyon since 2020. Before entering national politics, she worked as an economist for Renault Trucks and directed a home-care association in Lyon. A member of The Ecologists, she has been active in local government and is known for her advocacy on social issues, including the expansion of legal access to abortion and the recognition of the State of Palestine. She currently serves as Vice-President of the Senate's Social Affairs Committee.
