Rebecca White is an Australian politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the seat of Lyons, elected in 2025. She also serves as an assistant minister in the second Albanese ministry, holding portfolios for Women, Indigenous Health, and Health and Aged Care. Previously, she had a long career in the Tasmanian House of Assembly, where she served as the Leader of the Opposition for the Tasmanian Labor Party from 2017 to 2021 and again from 2021 to 2024. A graduate of the University of Tasmania, White began her professional life as a political adviser before entering parliament in 2010.
