René Pilato

René Pilato is a French politician and educator serving as the deputy for Charente's 1st constituency in the National Assembly. Born in 1962, he previously worked in the space industry before becoming a mathematics teacher at the Lycée de l'Image et du Son in Angoulême. Pilato was first elected to the National Assembly in a 2023 by-election and was subsequently re-elected in 2024. He is a member of the La France Insoumise party and sits on the Committee on Economic Affairs.
