Renu Devi

Renu Devi is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly representing the Bettiah constituency. A prominent leader within the Bharatiya Janata Party, she previously served as the 7th Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar from 2020 to 2022, becoming the first woman to hold that office in the state. Her political career, which began through social activism in 1981, includes roles as the Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture and as a national vice-president of the BJP. She is recognized for her advocacy for the Extremely Backward Class community.
