Reuben D'Silva is an American politician serving as a member of the Nevada Assembly for the 28th district. Born in Mumbai, India, he immigrated to the United States as a child and grew up in the Las Vegas Valley. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps who served in the Iraq War, D'Silva is a former history teacher at Rancho High School. He holds degrees from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the University of Pennsylvania, and Yale University. D'Silva is the first Indian-American to serve in the Nevada State Assembly.
