Ricardo López Murphy

Ricardo López Murphy is an Argentine economist, academic, and politician currently serving as a National Deputy for Buenos Aires. A graduate of the University of Chicago, he previously held high-level government positions, including Minister of Defense and Minister of Economy during the presidency of Fernando de la Rúa. Known for his liberal economic views and often nicknamed "the Bulldog," he has founded several political movements, including Recreate for Growth and United Republicans. He identifies as a republican liberal and maintains a focus on fiscal responsibility, the division of powers, and the defense of individual autonomy.
