Richard Haggerty

Richard M. Haggerty is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives, representing the 30th Middlesex District, which includes the towns of Woburn and Reading. He holds the position of chair of the Joint Committee on Housing and has contributed to various legislative committees focused on finance, economic development, and climate policy. Prior to his state-level service, Haggerty was a member of the Woburn City Council from 2010 to 2019, including a tenure as Council President. He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where he studied political science with a concentration in foreign policy.
