Richard O'Donoghue is an Irish politician serving as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Limerick County constituency since 2020. A self-employed building contractor by trade, he previously served as a member of the Limerick City and County Council. Initially associated with Fianna Fáil, he later served as an independent before becoming a founding member and general secretary of the Independent Ireland party in 2023. He currently chairs the Committee on Budgetary Oversight and was re-elected to the Dáil in 2024.
