Richard Ramos

Richard Ramos is a French politician serving as a member of the National Assembly for the 6th constituency of Loiret since 2017. A member of the Democratic Movement (MoDem), he previously worked as a café server in Blois. Ramos is widely recognized for his legislative focus on food safety, agriculture, and lobbying reform, most notably leading a high-profile campaign to reduce the use of nitrites in processed meats. Politically, he has maintained an independent stance within the presidential majority, notably opposing the 2023 pension reform and advocating for a distinct centrist identity.
