Rick Outman

Rick Outman is an American politician serving as a member of the Michigan Senate, representing the 33rd district since 2019. A Republican, he previously served in the Michigan House of Representatives from 2011 to 2017. Before his legislative career, Outman worked as an excavator and business owner, and served in the U.S. Army and Army National Guard. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on fiscal policy and committee work, including roles as chair of the Department of Health and Human Services sub-committee budget and the Environmental Quality Committee. He is known for his conservative stances, including opposition to Medicaid expansion and support for right-to-work legislation.
