Rick Scarbrough

Rick Scarbrough is an American politician and former law enforcement officer serving as a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the 33rd district. Elected in 2024, he represents communities including Oak Ridge, Oliver Springs, and Clinton. Prior to his legislative career, Scarbrough spent 29 years in law enforcement, including 16 years as the Chief of Police for the Clinton Police Department. In office, he has focused on criminal justice reform, including expanding racketeering laws, and has expressed opposition to universal school vouchers.
