Ricki Ruiz

Ricki Ruiz is an American politician and community organizer serving as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives for the 50th district. Born in Portland and raised in Gresham, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in social entrepreneurship from Warner Pacific University and a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. Before his election to the state legislature in 2020, Ruiz worked as a community services coordinator for the city of Gresham. As a legislator, he has focused on education and economic development, serving as vice chair of the House Interim Committee on Higher Education and as a member of the House BIPOC Caucus.
