Rita Mayfield

Rita Mayfield is an American politician serving as a member of the Illinois House of Representatives for the 60th district. Appointed to the seat in July 2010 following the death of Eddie Washington, she has since been re-elected multiple times. Mayfield holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Columbia College and a Master of Science in Management and Organization Behavior from Benedictine University. In the legislature, she serves on numerous committees, including roles as chairwoman of the Appropriations - Public Safety Committee and the Product Safety Subcommittee.
