Rita Tamašunienė is a Lithuanian politician who has served as a member of the Seimas since 2012. A member of the Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania – Christian Families Alliance, she previously held the position of Minister of the Interior from 2019 to 2020. Before entering national politics, she worked as a teacher and school principal, and served as the deputy director of the administration for the Vilnius District Municipality. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has focused on budget, finance, and ethics, currently presiding over the Commission for Ethics and Procedures.
