Robert Brannekämper is a German politician and architect who has served as a member of the Landtag of Bavaria since 2013. Born in Munich, he studied architecture and worked in his family's construction business before entering politics. A member of the Christian Social Union (CSU), he previously served on the Munich City Council from 1996 to 2014. In the state parliament, he has focused on higher education policy, the preservation of historical monuments, and the interests of public service employees. He currently serves as the deputy chairman of the Committee for Science and the Arts and is the chairman of the State Monument Council.
