Robert Plaga
Profile
Robert Plaga is a Czech politician and university teacher who has served as the Minister of Education since December 2025. He previously held the same ministerial position from 2017 to 2021 during the second cabinet of Andrej Babiš. Throughout his career, Plaga has been deeply involved in educational administration, having worked at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports and served as the director of the Center for Technology Transfer at Mendel University in Brno. He also briefly managed Mendel University as a deputy minister in early 2022.
