Robyn Frier

Robyn Niayuq Frier is an American politician serving as a member of the Alaska House of Representatives for the 40th district. An Alaska Native of Iñupiaq descent, she previously served as the president of the North Slope Borough School District Board of Education. Frier was elected to the state legislature in 2024 after defeating incumbent Thomas Baker. Her political platform has focused on addressing regional issues such as water access, public safety, and wealth inequality within her vast, northernmost legislative district.
