Rod Pelton

Rod Pelton is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Colorado Senate, representing District 35. A Republican, he previously served in the Colorado House of Representatives for District 65 from 2019 to 2023. Before entering state-level politics, Pelton worked as a farmer and rancher and served for many years on the Cheyenne County Board of County Commissioners, where he held the position of commission chair. He was first elected to the state legislature in 2018 and has since focused on representing the interests of east-central and southeastern Colorado.
