
Roland Theis

Roland Theis is a German politician and member of the Bundestag representing the St. Wendel district since 2025. A lawyer by training, he previously served as State Secretary in the Saarland Ministry of Justice from 2017 to 2022 and held a seat in the Landtag of Saarland starting in 2009. Throughout his career, he has been deeply involved in judicial, media, and economic policy, as well as international relations, currently chairing the German-French Parliamentary Friendship Group. He remains active in academic and policy circles as a lecturer and member of various international committees.
