Tobias Hans

Tobias Hans is a German politician who currently serves as a member of the Landtag of Saarland. He previously held the office of Minister-President of Saarland from 2018 to 2022 and served as the state chairman of the CDU Saar from 2018 to 2022. Before his tenure as Minister-President, he was the parliamentary leader of the CDU in the state parliament. Hans began his political career in local government in Neunkirchen and has been a member of the state parliament since 2009. Following his party's defeat in the 2022 state election, he stepped down from his leadership roles but continues to serve as a member of the Landtag, where he is active in committees concerning the environment, climate, economy, and digital innovation.
