Ruba Ghazal

Ruba Ghazal is a Canadian politician who has served as a Member of the National Assembly of Quebec for the district of Mercier since 2018. Born in Beirut to Palestinian refugees, she immigrated to Quebec at age ten and studied at HEC Montréal. A founding member of Québec solidaire, she currently serves as the party's female co-spokesperson and is their designated candidate for premier in the 2026 provincial election. Her political work focuses on environmentalism, the protection of the French language in Montreal, and social justice.
