Rubens Otoni

Rubens Otoni Gomide is a Brazilian politician who has served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies representing the state of Goiás since 2003. A long-time member of the Workers' Party (PT), he previously served as a state deputy in Goiás from 1992 to 1994. Throughout his career, Otoni has been a consistent supporter of the PT's national agendas, including the administrations of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff, while acting as an opposition figure during the Temer and Bolsonaro governments. He holds degrees in law and mechanical engineering and has also worked as a university professor.
