Rudi Hartono Bangun is an Indonesian politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives (DPR RI). Born on May 17, 1977, in Sawit Seberang, he is of Karo descent and the son of former North Sumatra Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) Chairman Saleh Bangun. Before his tenure in the national legislature, he served as the Chairman of the Langkat Regency DPRD from 2009 to 2014 and was a member of the North Sumatra DPRD. Throughout his career, he has been affiliated with the Democratic Party, serving as the Chairman of the party's Langkat Regency branch. He holds a master's degree from the University of Medan Area.
