Rudi Vervoort

Rudi Vervoort is a Belgian politician who has served as the Minister-President of the Brussels-Capital Region since 2013. A member of the Socialist Party, he previously served as the mayor of Evere, a position he held starting in 1998, and as a member of the Brussels Parliament. Throughout his tenure as Minister-President, he has held responsibility for various portfolios including urban development, local authorities, and regional statistics. He holds a degree in law and has been recognized with honors such as the Order of Leopold II and the Order of the Rising Sun.
