Ruppert Stüwe

Ruppert Stüwe is a German economist and politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2021, representing the Berlin-Steglitz-Zehlendorf district. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD) since 2006, he is affiliated with the Parliamentary Left, a left-wing faction within his party. In parliament, he contributes to the Committee on Education, Research and Technology Assessment, the Committee on Petitions, and the Subcommittee on Global Health. Prior to his legislative career, Stüwe worked for the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) from 2011 to 2021. He has also been involved in various advisory and supervisory roles, including positions with the Institute for Federal Real Estate and the Ernst Reuter Foundation for Advanced Study.
