Ruweida Mohamed Obo is a Kenyan politician and professional pilot who currently serves as the Member of Parliament for Lamu East Constituency. She made history as the first woman elected to represent the constituency in 2022. Before entering politics, she had a distinguished career in aviation, working as a line captain for Mombasa Air Safari and founding Obo Aviation. She holds a BSc in Aviation Management from the University of Nairobi and a BBM from Moi University, and she previously served as the Lamu County Woman Representative.
