Ryotaro Konomi is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the Fukuoka 4th district. Born in Fukuoka City in 1974, he graduated from Tohoku University with a degree in agriculture and completed his graduate studies there. Before entering politics, Konomi spent 25 years working as a news cameraman for NHK. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in the 2024 general election via the proportional representation block and secured re-election in the 2026 general election.
