Ryu Gyeong-gi

Ryu Gyeong-gi is a South Korean politician and former high-ranking civil servant currently serving as the Mayor of Jungnang District in Seoul. After passing the 29th Public Administration Examination in 1985, he held various senior positions in the Seoul Metropolitan Government, including Head of the Planning and Coordination Office and Administrative First Vice Mayor of Seoul. He was first elected as the Mayor of Jungnang District in 2018 and has since secured re-election for three consecutive terms. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on urban development and local administrative reform, including the relocation of the Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation to Jungnang District.
