渡辺竜五

Ryugo Watanabe is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Sado City in Niigata Prefecture. Born in 1965 in the former Aikawa Town, he spent much of his career as a local government official, holding various leadership positions within the Sado City administration, including roles in agriculture, policy, and general affairs. After a brief tenure as an executive at Sun Frontier Sado, he was elected mayor in 2020 and secured a second term in 2024.
