Sébastien Lecornu is a French politician serving as the Prime Minister of France since September 2025. Positioned on the right of the political spectrum, he is a member of the Renaissance party and previously held several ministerial positions, including Minister of the Armed Forces, Minister of the Overseas, and Minister of Local Authorities. Before his national government career, he served as the President of the Departmental Council of Eure and as the Mayor of Vernon. Known for his Gaullist and socially conservative views, Lecornu has been a prominent figure in the administration of President Emmanuel Macron since 2017.
