S. R. Srinivas

S. R. Srinivas is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly representing the Gubbi constituency. A five-term legislator, he is noted for his undefeated electoral record, having won every election he has contested since his start in local government in 2000. Originally associated with the Indian National Congress, he later served with the Janata Dal (Secular) before returning to the Congress party in 2023. Known for his secular political stance, Srinivas gained national attention for exposing attempts to influence his party affiliation through bribery. In 2024, he was appointed chairman of the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation.
