Sören Bartol

Sören Bartol is a German politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2002, representing the electoral district of Marburg. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SPD), he has held significant roles within the party's parliamentary group, including serving as deputy chairman from 2013 to 2021. In addition to his legislative duties, Bartol has served as Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building since 2021, contributing to government policy under both the Scholz and Merz administrations. Throughout his career, he has been deeply involved in transport and infrastructure policy, leading various working groups during coalition negotiations.
