Saarani Mohamad

Saarani Mohamad is a Malaysian politician and teacher who has served as the 13th Menteri Besar of Perak since December 2020. A long-standing member of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO), he has represented the Kota Tampan constituency in the Perak State Legislative Assembly since 2004. Throughout his career, he has held various positions within the state administration, including serving as a member of the Perak State Executive Council and as the Leader of the Opposition in the Perak State Assembly.
