
Sadettin Hülagü

Sadettin Hülagü is a Turkish politician, academic, and medical doctor currently serving as a Member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey. A specialist in gastroenterology, he previously served as the Rector of Kocaeli University from 2014 to 2022 and as a Chief Advisor to the President of Turkey. Throughout his medical career, he pioneered several endoscopic techniques in Turkey, including double-balloon enteroscopy and advanced biliary imaging. He holds degrees from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine and completed his residency at the GATA Haydarpaşa Military Hospital.
