Sahhanim Görgü-Philipp is a German politician and member of the Bremische Bürgerschaft representing the Alliance 90/The Greens. Born in 1970 in Karakoçan, Turkey, she holds a degree in social work from the University of Applied Sciences Bremen. Before entering politics, she worked as an interpreter, social pedagogue, and case manager for social services. She served as a member of the advisory board for the Östliche Vorstadt district from 2011 to 2016 and joined the state parliament in 2016. From 2023 to 2026, she served as Vice President of the Bremische Bürgerschaft, resigning from the post in March 2026 following public controversy regarding a social media post.
